Carl Allen Underwood, age 68, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at his home.
He was born on March 16, 1956 to the late Donald Underwood Sr. and Leola Stanley in Davenport, Iowa. In 1977 he started working as a boat builder for Woods Manufacturing and Family, he had a strong dedication to his work. Carl liked to fish but was a heck of catfisher, he loved it, to him it was never too cold. Carl was known to take people under his wing, one young man he was exceptionally proud of was Bryan Bigelow, he looked at him as a son. He was a loving father and grandfather, a devoted husband and a hardworking man.
Carl is survived by his children, Charles Underwood (Carrie), Chrystina Barnes, Parker Underwood and Colton Underwood; siblings, Leonard Underwood (Josephine) and Carmmalita Collins and Tommy Cooley; grandchildren, Candice Marks, Courtney Marks, Chayla Hubbard (John), Jasmine Cruise (Tommy), Dalton Underwood, Chelsea Underwood, Levi Farris, Elyssa Farris, Rebecca Farris, Donnie Farris, Deltha and Benjermin and many great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Will Underwood; parents, Donald Sr. and Leola Underwood and siblings, Don Underwood (aka JR), Ronald Underwood and Tammy Young.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm at Roller-Burns Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Graveside service will be on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Hand Valley Cemetery in Rea Valley. Service will be officiated by Bryan Bigelow.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bud Leininger, Butch Still, Dan Goodwin, Derrick Stevens, Kevin Cooper and Bryan Bigelow.
Services are by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
