of Mason, TN

May 28, 1959 - January 24, 2025

Brenda Walraven Atkins passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 65. She was born to Grover and Mavis Walraven on May 28, 1959 in Parkin, Arkansas. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Grover Walraven and Mavis Gilmer, three brothers; Bill, Donald, and Allen Walraven and one nephew, Tyler Walraven. Brenda worked for the Internal Revenue Service for many years. She was also an animal lover through and through. She spent a lot of her time working with animal rescue organizations and doing everything she can to make a difference for her 4 legged pals. Her family called her "Super Organized" because she held every occasion close to her heart. Brenda never forgot a birthday or anniversary and wanted every loved one in her life to feel just as special as the next. She attended Covington Baptist Church. Brenda married the love of her life, Bobby Atkins, on April 9, 2005. Brenda is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Atkins, two nieces; Monica Thomas and Kristen Walraven, and four nephews; Torrey Walraven, Scott Walraven, Kevin Walraven, and Christopher Walraven.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Brenda Atkins at Roller Citizens Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 29, 2025 with visitation starting at 1:00pm and the funeral to immediately follow at 2:00PM.
