Nereyda Ruiz, 23, a resident of Clarksville passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 in Little Rock. She was born September 25, 2001 to Jose and Maria Del Carmen (Navarro) Ruiz in McAllen, Texas. Nereyda's life may have been short, but it was not short-lived. She enjoyed life to the fullest, baking treats, helping with the care of her nephew, Elias, doing nails and spending time with her family and her two dogs, Minnie and Lennie. Those who knew her will continue to remember and embrace the love they felt from her in the time that they had with her.

Those that are left to cherish the memories of Nereyda are her parents; one brother, Mario Ruiz; two sisters, Alondara and Carolina Ruiz; one nephew, Elias Gomez-Ruiz; along with many more family members and numerous friends.

There will be an open visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2025, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Funeral services for Nereyda will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.


Nereyda Ruiz, de 23 años, residente de Clarksville, falleció el viernes 24 de enero de 2025 en Little Rock. Nació el 25 de septiembre de 2001, hija de José y María Del Carmen (Navarro) Ruiz en Mcallen, Texas. La vida de Nereyda puede haber sido corta, pero no fue efímera. Disfrutaba la vida al máximo, horneaba golosinas, ayudaba con el cuidado de su sobrino, Elías, hacía las uñas y pasaba tiempo con su familia y sus dos perros, Minnie y Lennie. Quienes la conocieron seguirán recordando y abrazando el amor que sintieron de ella en el tiempo que pasaron con ella.

Los que quedan para atesorar el recuerdo de Nereyda son sus padres, un hermano, Mario Ruiz; dos hermanas, Alondara y Carolina Ruiz; un sobrino, Elías Gómez-Ruiz; junto con muchos más familiares y numerosos amigos.

Habrá un velorio abierto de 9:00 a. m. a 9:00 p. m., el viernes 31 de enero de 2025, en Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Los servicios funerarios de Nereyda serán a las 10:00 a. m. del sábado 1 de febrero de 2025 en la capilla de la funeraria Roller-Cox en Clarksville, Arkansas.
