Ruby Marion (Allen) Cavaness, age 97, of Melbourne, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in Melbourne.

Ruby was born April 5, 1927 to the late Jesse James and Eliza (Richardson) Allen in Summit, Arkansas. Ruby was a lifelong resident of the state of Arkansas and a member of the Melbourne First Baptist where she served her church community in many ways. She was known as a kind and loving Mother and Grandmother. Some of her favorite things to do were crossword puzzles and reading books, but most of all, spending time with her family.

Ruby is survived by two daughters, Victoria Cooper (Kay) of Brockwell, Arkansas and Rhonda Boeger (Fred) of Haskell, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Jeff and Jason Cooper, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Cavaness and brother, Lucian Allen.

At the request of the family, all arrangements are private.
