Thelma Louise Craft

of West Memphis, AR

September 2, 1941 - December 16, 2024

Louise was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and mother-in-law. You could always count on receiving a call from Louise if you had a doctor's appointment, on your birthday and anniversary. Louise had many conversations with her two daughters-in-law apologizing for Allen and Jeff, being like their dad by keeping old cords and every nut and screw for "future use" .

Louise loved to have fun with her best friend Janice for over 50 years. The pair were called "Lucy and Ethel" by her family for their antics. Steve came up with the nickname in the 80"s. She loved animals and would take Jackson to feed the ducks and to the Safari Park. Louise would always take her granddaughter Allison to the Singing Christmas Tree at Bellevue every year and to the movies. She also went to many trips at Munchies and Grandma would let her drive. Her granddaughter Kim said she was always a phone call away. She enjoyed the grandchildren's events and was always asking about them. While some might call her "Nosy". She was always looking out for her family and neighbors. Once she was looking out of the kitchen window while talking on the phone. Steve closed the blinds and she stopped talking! She chose her wedding day April 15th (Tax Day) so Bill would not forget. Louise is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Bill Craft, Parents Frank and Mae Pugh and brother Cecil Pugh. She leaves her three sons: Allen (Sherry) Fincher of Marion AR, Steve Craft of West Memphis AR, and Jeff (Elsie) Craft of Atoka, TN, grandchildren; Robert (Casey) Fincher of O'Fallon, MO, Kimberlee Daugherty of Crawfordsville, AR, Allison Fincher of Osceola, AR, Eugene Bryan of Corinth, MS, Joseph (Sara) Bryan of Munford, TN and Jackson Craft of Atoka, TN, 11 great grandchildren, with one great great grandchild due in February In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to The Ronald McDonald House.
