Dorothy Jean Burroughs, age 86, of Biscoe, Arkansas passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025 at Maple Health Care in Hazen, Arkansas. She was born on July 10, 1938 in Wynne, Arkansas to William Troy Woodson and Gladys Marie Hamrick.

She is survived by her children, Vicky Baxter (Timmy) of Biscoe, Cindy Overturf (Glen) of Biscoe, Jeff Burroughs (Keri) of Conway and Lisa Burress (Keven) of Little Rock, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Mandy Kearby (Micheal), Kevin Baxter, Cody Overturf (Kerby), Alarie Needham (Mathew), Macy Phillips (Hunter), Zack Burroughs (Hailey), Jessica Mason (Robert), Connor Alliston (Maddie) and Abby Alliston; nineteen great-grandchildren, Will Kearby, Matt Kearby, Jack Kearby, Ben Kearby, MaryKate Kearby, Ruby Kearby, Annie Kearby, Noelle Kearby, Asa Kearby, Autumn Kearby, Callie Baxter, Josie Needham, Weston Needham, Saylor Burroughs, Harper Burroughs, Aurora Mason, Lily Mason, Lawson Alliston and Wren Burroughs and two sisters, Rebecca Sharp and Diane Lancaster (Roy).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Burroughs; parents, William and Gladys Woodson; a brother, David Woodson and a sister, Shirley Spencer.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at First Assembly of God Church in Biscoe, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Biscoe Cemetery. Visitation will be held at First Assembly of God Church in Biscoe on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
