Donald Gene Altman, 88, of Timbo, Arkansas passed from this world into the arms of his loving Savior on January 26, 2025. He was born at Timbo, Arkansas to the late Ellis and Addie (Dodson) Altman on August 22, 1936.

Donald married the love of his life on January 15, 1960 in Newnata, Arkansas. Before her passing in June 2024, they spent 64 wonderful years together. Together they raised a beautiful family. Don was of the Baptist faith. He was a farmer, raising broiler chickens and cattle. He enjoyed working on the farm, watching westerns, listening to classical country music. He enjoyed visits from his grandchildren. Don was a loving husband, father and a great friend. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Don is survived by his daughters, Malinda Brightwell, Lana (Joel) Smith; son, Stanley Altman; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Don is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Webb) Altman; son, Randy Altman; parents, Ellis and Addie Altman and brothers, Vaughn Altman and J.T. Altman.
