Hubert L. Goodnight, 95, of Mayflower, Arkansas went to his eternal home in heaven, Thursday, January 23rd, 2025. He was born June 26, 1929 in Vilonia, Arkansas to the late Robert E. Goodnight and Rebecca (Birchett) Goodnight.
Hubert was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Imogene (Cleaver) Goodnight; one son, Robert L. Goodnight; One grandson, Trey Goodnight; four brothers, Albert Goodnight, Andy Goodnight, Robert Goodnight and Sam Goodnight and two sisters, Pauline Cathey and Stella Lawson.
Hubert is survived by five sons, Griffin Goodnight, Dennis (Sandra) Goodnight, Ples (Dorothy) Goodnight, Wren (Lauralynn) Goodnight, Hubert L. Goodnight Jr.; three daughters, Denise (David) Kennedy, Priscilla (Terry) Elliot and Millie (Gary) Larsen; 30 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and Scharlsey Hankins; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
A visitation will be held on January 28, 2025 at 1pm at Roller McNutt Funeral Home with the service beginning at 2pm. With Brother David Terry officiating. Interment will follow at Cypress Valley Cemetery in Vilonia, Arkansas.
The pallbearers will be Rocky Baker, Griffin Goodnight Jr. Sammy Goodnight, Autie Goodnight, Tony Martin and Bradley Richards.

Sorry to hear Hubert passed, he lived a long life, I have a lot of memories mostly good, if I was in any fight or conflict I would want him on my side, he was just about the toughest little guy I ever seen, believe me I got some stories,lol he’s in Heaven now that’s all that matters, GOD bless each of the family , Hubert help raise us also, Gary,myself,RLand Millie
