Sandy D. Rowland, 64, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 22, 2025. Born on December 9, 1960, in Little Rock, he was the cherished son of the late Ray and Bessie Rowland.
Sandy had a profound love for music and singing. A devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church, he spent over 20 years as a proud member of the church choir and was a dedicated participant in the Men's Bereans Sunday School Class. Each Sunday, Sandy faithfully rang the church bell.
For 40 years, Sandy worked in the Vending Facility Program, where he built a long and meaningful career. His dedication was evident as he worked up until just a week before being hospitalized. His commitment to his work and his faith served as an inspiration to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Kerns Rowland, who shared his life and his heart for many wonderful years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 5700 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, AR 72207 at 10:00am, Saturday, February 8, 2025. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Sandy's memory.
