of West Memphis, AR
April 6, 1964 - January 20, 2025
Paul Anthony King, 60, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed into the arms of his Father on January 20th, 2025. Born on April 6th, 1964 he was a proud father, devoted church member and follower of Christ and friend to all.
Paul spent many years working in construction and he was a very talented trim carpenter. When he was not working, Paul could be found at Mid-Way Baptist Church or doing something to help one of the church members there. Paul was a man of kindness and generosity and he loved talking about God and his kids more than anything.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jackie King. He is survived by his mother, Maria King; his brother, Curtis King; his twin sister, Paula Yarbro; his children, Amanda King, Ashley Gentry (Don), Karly Glidwell (Eric), Parker King, Katy King and Kennedie King; a granddaughter, Maley Gamble and a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th at 10:00am at First Baptist Church in West Memphis. The funeral will follow at 11:00am with a private burial ceremony immediately after. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Mending Hearts Child Safety Center or First Baptist Church in West Memphis.
We find comfort in knowing that Paul is with Jesus now, in a fully healed and whole body. His laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and we will see him again some day in Glory.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Paul was a special friend to me, especially in some of my darkest days. I will always cherish his friendship, care, encouragement, love and prayers.

So sorry for your loss, Paul was a good friend and in my opinion a ANGEL already, He was so kind. Now he has his WINGS.
May each of you hold close the cherished memories you have of Paul and take comfort knowing he is with the Lord. Praying for each of you as you all come together for his celebration of life service.
Paul was very kind to me when I was new to Mid-Way church. His family was accepting and very supportive. He was all about his family! May he rest in peace knowing he was so loved and appreciated.
