Bettye J. Rose-Chism, age 62, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025, in Conway, Arkansas. She was born on Tuesday, November 6, 1962, in Helena, Arkansas to the late Bobby Gene Rose and Mary Ellen Glenn.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carl ''Eddie'' Chism of West Helena, Arkansas; beloved daughter, Kate Ellen Rose; sisters, Lydia Jones (Rex) of Marvell, Arkansas and Mary Anna McRae of Huffman, Texas; host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Bettye is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Glenn; father, Bobby Gene Rose; brother, James Marvin Rose (Manze).

I am so sorry to all of Bettye Jean's family. We were very close to her when she was a little girl! We often visited her Dad & Mother when they lived just off 4th Street in West Helena. She will be missed dearly!
