Martha Lou Tucker

of Searcy, AR

June 25, 1935 - January 15, 2025

Martha Lou Tucker, 89, of Searcy, Arkansas completed her earthly journey on January 15, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas with her family at her side. She was born in Pangburn, Arkansas on June 25, 1935, to her parents, the late Allen Ray and Minnie Thrasher Faulkner. Martha was a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy, Arkansas.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents along with two sisters, Kathleen (Sonny) Wyatt and Dorothy (Reece) Wyatt and two brothers, G W Faulkner and John Paul Faulkner. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Regina (Jack) Turner and Zoe Abraham all of Van Buren, AR; three grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Key, Amanda (Jimmy) Holland and Aaron (Wendy) Abraham; twelve grandchildren, Kaleb, Tristen, Stephanie, Katilyn, Kyle, Kole, Chase, Brad, Teaghan, Mattilynn, Rexilynn and Phylee; and two great great-grandchildren, Jamisen and Reece along with other extended family members and many friends.

Martha grew up in Pangburn and was a member of the 1952-1953 Class of Pangburn High School. She loved to work in her flower garden, and she enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. She loved to travel with her friends and see new places. She never minded going, but she was always ready to come home. She loved taking walks in the park and was an avid Razorback lover. Martha loved her town Searcy and served the county for 23 years in the Assessor's Office and enjoyed teaching her grandchildren about what she did at work.

But there were two things that were the most important to her and that was her family and her church. She was very committed to her church and to her Lord. She was known for being a prayer warrior because she prayed for everyone. She enjoyed the time that she was able to spend with her grandchildren, her great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She left a piece of wisdom for those she loved which is ''Be prepared, Love God with all your heart, Put Him first and Prayers will open up opportunities we never could dream of.''

The family would like to express their thanks for the loving care from The Heart of Hospice of Fort Smith that Martha received while she was in their care.

Services are scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2025, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with Visitation to be 1:00 2:00 PM and the Celebration of Life to begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
