July 26, 1946 - January 10, 2025
John Lewis passed away January 10, 2025 at the age of 78. John was born July 26, 1946 to the late Guy and Rubye (Simpson) Lewis. He leaves his daughter, Monica Browder; grandchildren, Ayva Browder, Ethan Browder and Austin Harrison and great grandson, Eli Harrison. John was retired from the City of Marion and Phillips 66. John proudly served our Nation while enlisted in the United States Army.
John loved his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, reading and attending church. He was a very generous man and would help anyone if he could. He will be missed by those who knew him and we will especially miss his directness and sense of humor.
John was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Mike Lewis, Margie Maxwell and Madge Horton.
