Charles Russell Smith Sr., 68, a resident of Clarksville passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 in Clarksville. He was born April 04, 1956 to the late Winfred Russell and Ellen Mae (Warren) Smith in Clarksville, Arkansas. Charles loved going camping, fishing and hunting. He had previously worked as a mechanic in Russellville and Clarksville for a period of time. Charles was known for his affectionate smile and welcoming nature that his family will always remember.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Charles R. Smith Jr.; two sisters, Helen M. Stewart and Georgia Christine Smith and two brothers, William C. Smith and Jimmy L. Smith Sr.

Those that are left to cherish the memories of Charles are his wife of 52 years, Deborah (Payne) Smith; one daughter, Jennifer (Bucky) Kennedy of Lamar; one grand-daughter, Darien Smith of Lamar; one grandson, Charles R. Smith of the home; two great grand-daughters; one great grand-son; one sister, June Ray of Dover; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

A visitation for Charles will be 10:00-5:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Roller-Cox Chapel at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas. Cremation will follow under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
