Luvicy "Dee" Dora Davis, 97, of England, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1927, in Greenbrier, Arkansas to parents, Ben and Virgie McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her parent; husband, Herman Davis; infant son: Danny Raye Davis; four brothers: Billy McDonald (Sue), Lyndell McDonald (C.T.), Harold McDonald (Carol Ann), General McDonald (Veleta Belle); three sisters: Thelma Williams (M.C.), Jean Rakestraw (Jimmy) and Dorothy Leonard.
She is survived by three children: Donna Ebert (Bob, Jr.), Brenda Palmer (J. R.) and James Davis; also, eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to cook and loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She drove a school bus for the England School District, and she was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Union Valley Cemetery. Bro. Robert Alberson will be officiating. There will be a book to sign at the funeral home or you can go to our website to sign and leave a short message for the family.
Brenda, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I haven't seen you since early 70s, but I remember our friendship growing up. My prayers are with you and your family.

"Dee" was my mom's aunt, so I always referred to her as Aunt Dee. I hadn't seen her in dozens of years, but remember her quite well. Always super nice to me. Rest in Peace
