My sympathies go out to Gereta's family. She was a dear friend and co-worker at Sears and briefly at Walmart. She treated my kids as if they were her own grandchildren.
My sincere condolences to the family.
I loved her so very much, she is my second cousin on my dad's side.
My dad was her dad's first cousin.
My heart goes out to Gereta's family and loved ones, especially James and Johnny. May God bring you peace. Gereta was one of the kindest and friendliest person I've ever know. She always had a smile on her face. Charlotte and I first met Gereta at Bethel Grove when we moved here in 1980. We became fast friends. I know she will be missed.
Psalm 116
I miss you so much Gereta. You weren't just my mother-in-law to me. I cherished you as a second mother. Thank you for letting me talk to you about Jesus. Thank you for all you gave of yourself to your children and grandchildren. You were so generous and kind. I am thankful I was healthy enough to sing to you and visit with you the day before you went to be with Jesus. Such a lovely memory. Holding your hand and singing about the Lord that you were just hours away from seeing. Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
My deepest sympathies go out to the family. She was such as sweet lady. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Much love.
David you and the family are in our Prayers.
Prayers for all her love ones
