Frankie Karl Baumert, age 77, passed from this earthly life on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025 after a lengthy illness at his home in Sherwood, Arkansas. He was born in Batesville, Arkansas on December 25th, 1947 to Paul Baumert and Novelle Blair Baumert. Frank married Neva Lee DePriest at the home of her parents on Zack Ridge on March 29th, 1968. To this union, two sons were born, Rusty and Jason Baumert.

Frank loved his family and his desire was for them to have a good life. He was an avid Razorback fan and a longtime member of the Moose Lodge, North Little Rock. He worked for the post office for 20 years and was a courier for Arvest Bank. His strong presence will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Neva Lee Baumert of the home; his son, Jason Karl Baumert of Sherwood; nieces, Melinda Clark of Cabot and Lynn Stokes of Vermont; nephews, Phil and Tim Baumert, both of Sacramento, CA and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Novelle Baumert; one son, Rusty Allan Baumert; sister, Ruth Marie ''Perchy'' Clark and brother, Robert Baumert.

Funeral services for Frank will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Shane Williams, Bro. Clifford DePriest and Bro. Mark Halsted officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in DePriest Cemetery at Silver Hill, Arkansas. Bearers will be Eric DePriest, Tarance DePriest, Garrett Moore, Haydon Moore, Kyle Halsted, Will Halsted, Sam DePriest and Mark Halsted. Honorary bearers will be Willie West, John Gilbert, Randy Green, Lloyd DePriest, Paul Ray Halsted and Lacy Culpepper.
