Kathy Holt

of Benton, AR

November 13, 1947 - January 1, 2025

Kathy Holt, 77, of North Little Rock, passed peacefully in the early morning hour of the New Year 2025 while residing at the Southern Charm Senior Living home in Benton, Arkansas. She was born in Austin, Texas on November 13, 1947 to Wardell and Jimmie Wash.

She was retired from the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit after 34 years. She was a creative mind and very crafty. Her hobby was being involved in a card maker club and loved to design and create personal cards for family and friends during the holidays and special occasions. She once served on a local Hot Air Balloon crew and loved participating and attending the balloon events. She enjoyed going on travel excursions with friends but most of all cherished the final years with her mother of 98 years until she passed in 2020.

Her love for the outdoors, animals, birds and scenery God provided was a staple of her thoughts, pictures and artwork. She was an avid fan of the Texas Longhorn Teams and enjoyed visiting the new Longhorn babies on her sons ranch. Over the years she attended Fellowship North and Park Hill Baptist Church. She loved her son and daughter deeply and provided, sacrificed, supported and comforted them until her last day.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Pat King of Shirestown, Pennsylvania; her son, Jeff Holt (Caesi) of Bryant, Arkansas; A daughter, Allison Blessing (Michael) of Vilonia, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Nikki Faye Blessing, Jaxon Ward Holt, Carlee Grace Holt and John Ryder Holt.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Rd, Benton, Arkansas 72015.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time at the funeral home.
