Charles Alfred Duffel, 91, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 in Marvell, Arkansas. He was born Friday, May 18, 1933 in Creigh, Arkansas to the late Atlas Duffel and Geneva Kornegay.
Charles was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Marvell, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Marvell High School. Charles was a farmer and enjoyed every second of it. He restored old tractors during his free time.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Myrtis Duffel; three daughters, Kim Rohrscheib (Doug), Deanie Schafer (Patrick) and Tracie Ligon (Chuck); five grandchildren, Lesha Bartlett, Michael Boals, Heidi Stanhope, Charley Schafer and Leah Endsley; six great-grandchildren, Briley Bartlett, Isabella Bartlett, Marlee Bartlett, Miller Endsley, Macon Endsley and Hazel Quintanilla and sister, Ruthie Brewer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Atlas and Geneva Duffel and one sister, Inez Brooks.
Pallbearers will be Josh Bartlett, Michael Boals, Kevin Endsley, Mark Stanhope, Buddy Quintanilla and Greg Brooks.
A funeral service for Charles Duffel will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Bob Neal and Sons in Marvell, Arkansas. A visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Bob Neal and Sons. Brother David Hellwig will officiate. Interment will follow at Turner Cemetery in Turner, Arkansas.
