Shirley J. Collins, 74, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed from this life on January 6, 2025. She was born November 24, 1950 to Virgil L. and Lillie M. (Witt) Pafford in Memphis, Tennessee.
Shirley was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star of Mountain View; she enjoyed being part of this charitable, non-profit, fraternal organization that aims to improve the world through service, education, science and fraternity.
She is survived by her son, James Doss of Tennessee; daughter, Cindy Doss of Salesville, Arkansas; grandson, James David Doss of Tennessee; stepdaughter, Kay (Michael) Bourgault of Shirley, Massachusetts; step grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Haskell of Shirley, Massachusetts; Chris (Chrissy) Zurhellen of Port St. Lucie, Florida and four step great grands, Isabella, Caleb, Leslie and Layne and brothers, Terry (Deborah) Pafford and Jerry (Tammy) Pafford.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil L. and Lillie M. (Witt) Pafford and husband, Carl Collins.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Mrs. Shirley. She and Mr. Carl were some of my favorite people to ever meet. I will be keeping her family and friends in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
