Jimmy Clyde Doshier, 91, Retired Greyhound Bus Driver for 38 years, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025; Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 9, 2025, both at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Yellville, AR.
He was born and raised in Yellville, AR. He graduated from Yellville-Summit High School and shortly after graduation was drafted in the Army. After the service he then moved to Wichita, KS to start his family and career.
He spent countless hours at sporting events for both his sons and grandkids. He was a warm, kind-hearted man who always put family first. He never met a stranger and was always there with a smile and comment to make you laugh.
He was a big fan of the KC Royals, KC Chiefs, KU Basketball and of course everything Arkansas Razorbacks.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Lyda Doshier; siblings, Harold, Jonathon, Shorty, Bill, Guila, Gladys, Mildred, Doc. Survived by his sons, Robert "Rob" (Leah) Doshier of Andover, Mike (Staci) Doshier of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Lauren Doshier, Zach Doshier both of Wichita, Jessica Doshier of Prairie Village, KS, Kaitlyn Doshier of Overland Park, KS and many nieces and nephews.
