Dorothy Mae Chambliss was called to her heavenly home on January 3, 2025 at the age of 76. Dorothy was a skilled seamstress, a wonderful cook and truly loved decorating for holiday celebrations. Mrs. Chambliss was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Almeth Chambliss, her parents Vernon and Myrtle Stockdale along with 7 siblings. She leaves to mourn her passing, son, John Chambliss; daughter, Teresa Livingston and her husband, Brian; grandson, Logan Livingston and brother, Jerry Stockdale and his wife, Joanne of Clovis, CA. Services for Mrs. Chambliss are private.

There are so many memories with Dorthy. We lived down the road from them in the country of all places Crawfordsville.
My brother, sister, and I spent a lot of time at their house. The memories are too many to share.
I really wished I would have been able to visit Dicky and Dorthy one last time before they passed!

Teresa and Johnny... just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you during this difficult time. I know my mom considered Dorthy her best friend. My comfort is I think my mom, Dorthy, and Dickey are catching up on old times in a much better place and continue watching over us with pride and joy.
