Janetta Mae (King) McClour, 87, of Cave City passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
She was born October 17, 1937 in Cave City to John R. ''Dutch'' King and Bertha (Arthur) King.
Janetta was a sweet and sassy woman who enjoyed watching out of her bay window. She was of the Baptist faith, loved kids and enjoyed working outside in the yard. Janetta also loved reading her Bible, listening to gospel records and watching old westerns on tv.
Survivors include one son, Larry McClour (Stephanie) of McRae; two daughters, Lavinia Turner (James) of Cave City, Renda Acklin (Ray) of Batesville; ten grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde McClour; one son, Gary McClour; five brothers and five sisters.
Pallbearers are Jeff Dickey, TJ Clay, Tyler Moody, Cody Davis, Joseph Davis and Garrison McClour. Honorary pallbearers are the staff members at Cave City Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Eutopia Cemetery at noon with Loyd Barry officiating.
A visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville before the service.
Memorials may be made in her honor to Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203.

So sorry for your loss! I knew this lady when I was very young. We rode the same school bus. Oh the memories I have of this young lady as we would sit together and sing songs on our way to school. She was 6 years older than me but she never treated me like I was younger. Even though we lost touch I have often thought of her and the good times we had.
