Robert Charles Van Dyke, age 90, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on December 26, 2024, at his home. He was born in Little Rock on February 4, 1934, to his parents, Robert George Van Dyke and Nina Ollie Horn. Robert was a Legislative Auditor for the State of Arkansas until his retirement and a member of Little Rock's First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister-n-law, Marilyn Austin. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Barbara Brown Van Dyke; sister-n-law, Marsha Hensley; two nieces, Regan Steyer and Holly Hughes; one great-niece, Taylor Williams; two great-nephews, Tyler Ward and Blake Birdsell and one great-great-nephew, Layth Williams.

A visitation will begin at 12:00pm with funeral services at 1:00pm Monday, January 13, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Little Rock with Pastor Jonathan Curtis officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock.

My sister, Joyce, worked with Bob for many years; and I knew him when I worked at VA Regional Office. I also knew him from church. He was a very kind, professional man. I know he will be missed greatly.
