Billy Ray LeMarr, age 77, of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Friday, December 27th, 2024 at Hospice of the Hills in Harrison, Arkansas. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on October 10th, 1947 to William Ray LeMarr and Francis Irene Massey LeMarr.
Billy was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. He graduated from Leslie High School. After the Army, Billy worked as a bus driver for many years, a job he enjoyed. Billy's true passion was working on his farm. He loved being outdoors, gardening and farming. He especially enjoyed sitting on the porch swing enjoying time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Elizabeth LeMarr; children, Rhydale LeMarr, Michael LeMarr, Chastity LeMarr, Amy LeMarr Davis, Chris Simons and Sean Simons; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many other extended family, neighbors and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Irene LeMarr; one grandchild, Jeffery Dale LeMarr and infant brother, Bobby John LeMarr.
Graveside services for Billy will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 at Elberta Cemetery where Billy will be laid to rest with Military Honors. Bro. Cody Branscum will officiate the service. Special music will be performed by Stephana Hubbard and Cadie Villines. Bearers will be John Branscum, Chris Simons, Sean Simons, Roger Loupe, Adam Redman and Jim Wallace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Billy Ray saved my life from drowning when I was a kid. I was swimming down on long creek (behind browns) and got pulled down stream I could not swim and as I was under the water looking up at everyone on the bluff at the cold hole he jumped in and pulled me to the bank and that is something I’ll never forget. My heart goes out to his family.
