Errol "E.J." James Roussel, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away December 24,2024, at the age of 81. E.J. was born June 21, 1943, to the late Holenn and Augustine Roussel. He was a parishioner at St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid, Florida, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. E.J. worked for Cleo Wrap, The Arkansas Department of Corrections, and Crittenden County Jail. He proudly served our nation while enlisted in the United States Army, where he served as a Machine Accounting Specialist. In his free time, E.J. enjoyed square dancing, gaming, fishing, and spending time with his family. He leaves to mourn his passing, two daughters, Jeanna Millington and Shawna Swoope and her husband WIlliam, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. E.J. was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Myra Jean Roussel, son, Errol James Roussel II and eight brothers and sisters.

Uncle E.J. was the baby of his siblings and gave me a ride to St. Gerard while he went to Redemptorist High. He was a good soul to all. We will miss him.
