Mr. Bobby Lee Reed, 87, of Gassville, AR passed away Saturday December 21, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He was born January 1, 1937 in Gassville, AR to the late Rex and Della (Young) Reed.
Bobby married the love of his life, Shirley (Hickman) Reed, on May 14, 1960 and they were married for 64 years. Bobby worked most of his adult life for H.E. Keeter Lumber Company. He enjoyed raising cattle and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley of the home; one son, Eugene (Teresa) Reed; one daughter, Marvina (Gene) Carson; four Grandchildren, Deborah, Amy, Brandon and Marie and one sister, Willa Jean Ralston.
Pallbearers are Brandon Reed, Allen Franks, Rodger Marler, Ben Smith, Bill Johnson and Russell Covington.
Honorary pallbearers are Gene Carson, Robert Benedict and Jason Hite, Bill Hickman and Norman Hickman.
Visitation for Mr. Reed will be Friday, December 27, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM with a funeral service starting at 2:00 PM, all at the Gassville Baptist Church with Gary Wise officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
