This man is now standing straight and strong. He his holding hands and hugging those he longed to see in this life. Every single thing he did was with his loved ones in mind. Every single one of those decisions he made earned him a jewel in his crown. He is shining bright and smiling that smile we all love. I will always love you.
Uncle Floyd and my dad spent a good amount of time aggregating Aunt Shirley. But I remember the time my dad helping Uncle Floyd with plumbing his and Aunt Edna house. Also 5yr old me getting covered in poison Ivy, oak and sumac from climbing the cedar tree growing there. I will miss Uncle Floyd alot.
My grandpa was a kind and wonderful person and will be truly missed. He was always there when I needed him and he did his very best to make sure the whole family was well and taken care of. Rest easy grandpa!
Uncle Floyd was one of the best Uncle's anyone could have. He was always so much fun to visit with and you could depend on him to be there whenever you needed him. He always checked on Mom after Dad passed and she really appreciated him. We are praying for comfort and peach for all of you as we know how hard this is.
Love Dean and Brenda
Floyd was a wonderful man. I know y’all will miss him. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.
My Dad was the best Dad ever. I’m not being biased…just saying! All my brothers and sisters will tell you the same. If that’s not enough to convince you ask any of our friends from high school, who to this day still refer to him as “Dad”. He was a strong man who believed in discipline. if you were in our home, you obeyed the rules, but it wasn’t fear, it was love and respect! I pray I’m half the DAD he was to me, my siblings and so many friends!
