Mary White, a beloved mother, grandmother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at Twin Lakes Therapy and Living December 15th, 2024. Born on June 25, 1947 in Anderson, Indiana to Donald and Mary Anthony, Mary lived a life of faith, love and selfless service. She was a proud and devoted member of the New Life Nazarene Church in Anderson, Indiana where she nurtured her deep love for the Lord and found joy in fellowship.
Mary was a woman of quiet strength and tender compassion. She was also a proud breast cancer survivor, whose resilience inspired those around her.
As a retired Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), she dedicated her life to the care of others, leaving an indelible mark on countless patients and families. Her colleagues admired her professionalism and her patients often described her as a comforting presence during their most vulnerable moments. Nursing was not just her profession but her calling and she poured her heart into every moment she spent in service.
In her personal life, Mary was equally devoted. She found delight in watching Hallmark and Christian movies, always drawn to stories that reflected love and hope. She was a sweet soul who brought warmth and joy to everyone who knew her. Her greatest pride and joy were her family. As an amazing and loving mother and grandmother, Mary's guidance, kindness and unwavering support will forever be remembered.
Mary is survived by her son, Mark White of San Antonio, Texas and her daughter, Melanie White of Summit, Arkansas. She also leaves behind three siblings, Jim Anthony (Judy) of Anderson, Indiana and Ruth Miller (John) of Spencer, Indiana; as well as her sister, Laura J. Anthony of Summit, Arkansas. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren, Dakota White, Allyson White, Caleb Belyeu and Damien Belyeu and her five great-grandchildren, Aiden, Emmilynn, Samuel, Atticus and Alanna.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mary Anthony; her brother, David Anthony; her son, Michael L White Jr. and her grandparents, Alden and Elma Anthony and Clinton and Edna Perkins.
Mary's life was a testament to her faith, love and dedication to others. Her sweet spirit and enduring kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
