Odis ''Tooter'' Ray Fletcher, 80, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 15, 2024. He was born on December 9, 1944 in Caraway, Arkansas to Ulies and Vetches Fletcher.
Tooter proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and later worked as a team leader at Hytrol. A man of faith, he was a devoted member of Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. Tooter found great joy in working outdoors and on the farm, as well as hunting and fishing, activities that reflected his love for nature and a life well-lived.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Bonnie Jean Parker and many uncles and other beloved family members.
Tooter is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Judy Ann (Harris) Fletcher; his son, Stephen Ray Fletcher; his daughter, Jana Gail (Jeff) Haskins; two cherished grandchildren, Callie DaiAnn (Neiko) Rawlings and Cainan Jake (Lilly) Culbreath; one great-grandchild, Gunnar Hayes Rawlings and a step-granddaughter, Emma Haskins. His family will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Chapel services will be Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Mike Book officiating. Burial will take place at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the funeral home.
Those to serve as pallbearers are Richard Hartness, Sherman House, Ted Athanasiou, Jason Hilliard, Lonnie King, Gary Dobbins and George Miller.
Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Parker, Keaton Graves, Josh Hill, Jamie Wagner, Greg Jennings and Terell Jennings.
In lieu of flowers, please consider lasting memorials to the Prospect Missionary Baptist Church or the Beck Center for Veterans.
Tooter's legacy of love for his family and passion for the outdoors will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.

So sorry to all of Tooters family but will remember with lots of love all of the times we had as cousins . We will all miss him, but his earthly pain is over and his heavenly reunion has just began. RIP dear cousin , Sandra Fletcher
