Loretta ''Jean'' Wortham of Judsonia, Arkansas completed her earthly journey on December 12, 2024 at Unity Health in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 87 years. She was born in Galena, Kansas to the late Arestus Levi and Ethel Mae Hembree Whitlow on August 19, 1937. Mrs. Whitlow was of the Baptist Faith.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Wortham, her parents and her one brother, Wallace Whitlow.

Left to cherish her memories is her daughter, Tammy (Dennis) Garrett of Judsonia, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Brittany Garrett of Nashville, Tennessee and Nicholas Garrett of Judsonia, Arkansas; along with other extended family members and many friends.

Jean enjoyed being at her home and being at home was anywhere her family was. She enjoyed cooking, coloring and taking care of her pets. Her most favorite thing for her was doting on her grandchildren, Brittany and Nicholas, who were the joys of her life, she knew their favorite foods and would make them any time she got the chance.

Funeral arrangements are set for a Graveside Service at White County Memorial Gardens at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Humane Society or The Salvation Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home of Searcy, Arkansas.
