Norma Jean ''Jeannie'' Tucker Beasley, 86, of Batesville passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024.
She was born January 13, 1938 in Rosie, Arkansas to Homer Leonard Bill Tucker and Myrtle James Tucker.
Jeannie was a lifelong member of Oil Trough Church of Christ. She graduated from Oil Trough High School as the Valedictorian. She was a preacher's wife and had a real passion for caring for anyone who needed it. Jeannie retired from ConAgra after 25 years. She loved to travel with her husband and was most excited to see lighthouses up and down the east and west coast. She loved cooking big meals for Birthdays and the Holidays and was known for her banana pudding.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Sam D. Beasley of the home; two sons, Sam ''Hick'' Beasley (Lisa) and Charles ''Chuck'' Beasley (Becky); one daughter, Terri Johnson (Chet); three grandchildren, Jillean Beasley, Seth Beasley (Brandy) and Cody Beasley (Alicia); eleven great-grandchildren, Gentry, Gauge, Kamryn, Chloe, Gabriel, Macie, Ella, Hannah, Clara, Charlie and Leah; one brother, Dr. Charles Tucker and two sisters, Billie Lois Barber and Connie Schroeder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Johnson and granddaughter, Terrie Lynn Beasley.
Pallbearers are Hick Beasley, Chuck Beasley, Chet Johnson, Seth Beasley, Cody Beasley and Gentry Tarpley. Honorary pallbearers will be Gauge Tarpley and Gabriel Banning.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00am Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Oil Trough Church of Christ with Chet Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery in Rosie under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00am just prior to the service at the church.
