James Robert Selvidge, 83, of Hartman, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on January 5, 1941 in Hedley, Texas to his parents, Adrian and Bobbie (Lamberson) Selvidge.

James was a United State Army veteran having served in the 101st Airborne. He worked for several years in the oil field and most recently worked at Friendship Community Care in Clarksville.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death his wife, Doris Selvidge; his son, James Adrian Selvidge and his step daughter, Carolyn Lewis.

He is survived by one son, Robert Selvidge of Hartman; one step daughter, Tracy East and spouse, Steve of Clarksville; two step sons, Gary Barrett and spouse, Cory of Wheeler, Texas and Tery Von Lewis of Texas and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.
