So sorry for having to write this so early in Mike’s life…. So sorry ,and my sympathy to Denise, and his lovely family..
I grew up living in the same neighborhood with Mike him kindly sharing his gocart, moped, and what ever he had with us other kids.. Band trip we a hoot with Mike.. Just knowing him and looking forward to seeing him at our class reunions.
Mike was a great father and stepfather to two of my best friends, Richard and Carl. I had the utmost respect for him and nothing but fond memories of him. I honestly tried to build my parenting style based on the way I remembered his. He was fun to be around, he treated me like part of the family, he took us fishing and to Astros games. And he was hilarious. I have hardly a memory of him that doesn’t make me laugh out loud. A damn fine man.
Rest in Peace Sir.
Rest easy Mike .. you will be missed by many .. condolences to your family that loved you immensely .. God speed
A man of faith ,a friend, a knight of Columbus, and a free spirit.
Denise. So sorry you've lost your soulmate. He definitely will not be forgotten. A smile that lit up any room. A love of flounders. I remember him holding up his big flounder outside Huntsman Chemical for all of us to see standing in front of his spray painted pink truck. A wonderful host. When I made the trips to see y'all with my sons and then my nephews, he entertained them as if they were his own. A wonderful cook. I don't think I've tasted anything better than what he cooked. What a fun adventurous life the two of you had. He had an impact on all of us and will be missed by many I'm sure.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Mike. He was always happy, cheerful, and eager to talk, listen, and share. Praying for everyone who knew him, it is a great loss. His jokes and stories will live on forever!
My sympathy & condolences for Denise and family are heartfelt. Mike was a true blue friend of mine for many years. He was always a ray of sunshine to all and a perfect gentleman when need to. We had lots of fun from elementary school through high school, until we all parted ways. Then we had class & school reunions. I got to see him when he and Denise married at our school reunion. He always brought his annual for everyone to sign again. I was naturally impressed & pleased to sign it. He will be missed by all of us. Rest in peace my good friend I'll see you again on the other side.
We love you and yours. Peace be with you.
Sending love and prayers from your friends in Texas. Remember our get togethers at Bill and Marie's and company parties. Mike was such a loving husband and dad. Great personality and a great fisherman. God bless his family and may he RIP.
I met Mike several years back when, because of a family member's medical emergency, I had Thanksgiving dinner with him and his family. He really went above and beyond to show us tremendous kindness in a stressful and difficult situation. He was a kind and funny and good man, and I'm so sorry to hear that he's passed on. I think the kindness he showed us was just his nature, and he probably would be surprised to now hear me say what a massive impression it made on me. I will never forget it, or him. Best love!
We will be there. Much love to you sweet lady.
Your fire for life will forever live on through me. You were the best Father and made me a good man. I am grateful for the time we had together and you will be sorely
