William ''Bill'' Berry, 81, of the Corley Community of Paris, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Bill was born, January 10, 1943 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to his parents, Jack Berry and Eula (Montgomery) Berry. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and diver for the Army Corps of Engineers in Russellville, Arkansas, a veteran of the United States Army and the Arkansas National Guard and a member of the Corley Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed playing guitar, building ponds and running heavy construction equipment. Bill was a very sociable person; he loved telling jokes and making people smile.

He is preceded in death by his parents mentioned above.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Barbara ''Kathy'' (Ezell) Berry of the home; two sons, Brian Berry and Mike Berry both of Paris, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Clayton Berry and wife, Casey; Mason Berry and wife, Heather and McKayla Berry; eight great-grandchildren; other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home in Paris. The family will bury the cremated remains at Mt. Salem Cemetery at a later date.

Our thoughts & prayers are with Bill's family at this time. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ronnie and Bill worked together awhile at the Corp of Engineers and rode together to work at Russellville. Bill always had a glass of iced- tea waiting for you when you visited. Ron & Linda Miller
