Willodean Harris, age 92 of Atkins, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 at Atkins Nursing and Rehab Center in Atkins, Arkansas. She was born in Tilly, Arkansas on December 29th, 1931 to George Emmett Godfrey and Drucilla Thompson Godfrey.

Willodean was of the Christian faith and loved to attend church. Her strong faith and devotion to her Lord and Savior were evident. Willodean worked for many years alongside her husband, Chester as a custodian at the Russellville Public School System. She enjoyed working in her yard and her flower garden. She had a passion for making things grow. She was a hardworking lady and a wonderful mother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her gentle spirit will be greatly missed by her family.

Survivors include her children, Eula Mae Crum of Atkins and Ronnie Harris and wife Maria, also of Atkins; her grandchildren, J.D. House (Tonya), Eula Rene Adaire, Michael Harris (Ginnaya), Shurell Harris (Felisha) and Nickie Harris; eleven great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; sister, Retha Brock of Alread; brother, Eulan Godfrey (Juanita) of Tilly; and many extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.

Willodean is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Drucie Godfrey; her husband, Chester J. Harris who passed away in 1997; two sons, James Carl Harris and Troy Leon Harris; her sisters, Juanita Brock and Wandalene Small; and her brother, Vernon Godfrey.

Graveside services for Willodean will be at 10:00 AM Monday, December 9th, 2024 at Union Hill Cemetery near Tilly, Arkansas with Bro. Larry Brock and Bro. Allen Brock officiating. Willodean will be laid to rest beside her husband, Chester Harris.
