Anna Melinda Reavis-Cross, age 91, of Compton, Arkansas passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at The Springs of Mount Vista Nursing Home. She was the daughter of Orville and Opal (Edwards) Reavis.

In her 91 years, Anna held many titles to each of us: a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a friend. She left us with several memories to hold onto in her final years. These memories were unknown to her due to her dementia, leaving just loved ones to carry her life stories on.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Grover Reavis; her first husband, Herschel Sisco; her second husband, AJ Rains and her third husband, James Cross; her three children, Benny Sisco, Jimmy Sisco and Linda Blevins and one great-grandchild, Christian Criner

Anna is survived by two brothers, Junior Reavis and Dwayne Reavis; two daughters-in-law, Debbie Sisco and Donna Sisco; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Katrena Wolfe (Justin), Amanda Williams (Michael), Joe Sisco (Emma), Daniel Sisco (Rachel), Christy Allmond (Jeremy), Sara Mixon (Billy), Kim Criner (Jeremey) and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.


Visitation was Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Pastor Jake Johnson officiating.

Interment was in Plumlee Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Garrett Keys, Ethan McCullough, Gavin Keys, Trenton Williams, Logan Brumley and Tanner Williams.

Honorary pallbearers were Justin Wolfe, Michael Williams, Jeremy Allmond, Brylee Methvin, Tim Sisco, Gavin Sisco, Daniel Sisco and Joe Sisco.
