April 4, 1935 - November 28, 2024

Ina (Wood) Baskin, 89, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 in Lawrenceville. She was born on April 4, 1935 in Delaware, Arkansas to her parents, Lynn and Hazel (Hamilton) Wood.

Ina was an Army wife that made a comfortable home all over the world to include Paris, France, Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Georgia. She was a career Government employee having retired from the Centers for Disease Control, working as a Manager of International Health. Throughout her working career she also obtained her real estate license and took great pride in helping clients find the perfect home. She was a great cook, a lifelong bridge player and a hobby painter.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Baskin; her son, Terry Lee Baskin; her twin, Ima Jacobson, sister, Loretta Jacobson and brother, Bennie Wood.

She is survived by her daughter, Jimmie Catherine Coleman and husband, John of Lawrenceville, Georgia; one sister, Georgia McReynolds of Kansas City, Missouri; her daughter in law, Mary Baskin of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Julie Lewis and husband, Randy, Jeffrey Baskin and wife, Marissa, Sydney Morgan and husband, Josh and Austin Coleman and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on December 6, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. The funeral service will begin immediately following at 2:00 p.m.. Burial will be in Elizabeth Hall Cemetery next to her husband under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Austin Coleman, Jeffrey Baskin, Randy Lewis, Josh Morgan, Iver Jacobson and Gary Denton.
