Edwin Joe Bratton

of Leslie, AR

October 25, 1949 - November 20, 2024

Edwin Joe Bratton, age 75 of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 at Ozark Health in Clinton, Arkansas. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on October 25th, 1949 to Charles Edwin Bratton and Maurdiece Burkhart Bratton.

Joe was an icon and legend of the Leslie Community. He spent many years being the official score keeper for the Leslie Bulldogs. He ran the clock for every game. Joe was the Bulldogs number one fan. Throughout the years he has helped or assisted with many events in the Leslie area. He was always a prominent figure during the GED graduations held at the Heritage Center. Joe enjoyed working at the Searcy County Fair every year and spent countless hours volunteering at the Searcy County Library. He was a member of the Leslie Baptist Church. Joe loved talking on the phone and his many friends will miss his daily calls. He was a great historian and could tell many stories of Leslie and its residents. Joe was small in stature but large in heart. Joe's death leaves a small hole in the community of Leslie and the surrounding areas that will never be filled.

A FULL OBITUARY IS PENDING.
