Nettie Powell, age 97, passed away in her home on November 7, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 15, 1927 to Benjamin Huston and Ruth Jewel (Avery) Rand in Boone County, Arkansas.
Nettie was raised in the Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed being on bowling teams when she was younger and later enjoyed going to Casinos. Most of all she loved visiting with her family and friends at family events.
Nettie is preceded in death by her parents; her son, L. D. Powell; her sister, Opal Plott; her brothers, Ed Rand, Bill Rand and Dean Rand and her sister, Sarah Sing.
Nettie is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
The graveside service will be on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Gass Cemetery with Bro. Kerry Leggett officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Bercham, Cole Bercham, Jacob Fulghum, Matt Milburn, John Fulghum and Huston Pardee.

Netty was a incredible lady. I enjoyed visiting with her, we shared a lot of laughs. She will be missed. I rejoice in her finishing her race and receiving her heavenly reward. Much love.
