Beneath her senior class photo in the 1963 Altheimer High School yearbook, Maxine was described as “Cute, clever, and full of fun.” She was still all of those things when last I saw her June 26, 2010, at a luncheon she and Jerry hosted for AHS classmates and teachers at their lake house in Hot Springs. I have always remembered Maxine as one of my favorite students, and will be thinking of Jerry and the family as they say goodbye to her next week.
Jerry & Family,
We are so sorry about Maxine.
It was such a blessing to have been able to spend the afternoon with all the Bosts that showed up at your house a few weeks ago. As usual Maxine & you were very gracious to all of us.
Johnny & I thought a whole lot of & really liked Maxine.
