Juanita was born on August 6, 1937 in Lee County Arkansas in the Aubrey community to the late Raymond Edward Morton and Bessie Inez Morton VonKanel. Juanita was a member of Twin City Church of Christ.

Juanita leaves five children, DeWayne Pettie (Sheila) of Germantown, Tennessee, Vicky Wiggins (Donny) of Marion, Deanna Bartlett of Jonesboro, Perry Pettie of Marvell and Brian Pettie (LeAnn) of Bono; eight grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Betty Jo Drennan of Lexa, Jerry VonKanel of Lexa and Dianne Rymel (Randy) of Lonoke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ervin and special friend, Don Gibson.

Active pallbearers will be Tyler Bartlett, Hunter Pettie, Connor Bartlett, Jackson Wiggins, Slade Pettie, Corbett Courtney and Casey Williams.

Mrs. Juanita was a precious woman. I absolutely loved spending time with her. I even remember learning to whistle from Mr. Ervin. DeWayne, Mrs. Vicky, Aunt Deanna, Perry, and Brian I remember you all so well. So many stories can be told of each of you and your family. Each and every one of them can all circle back to one person...Mrs. Juanita. I could tell at an early age that each of you loved her dearly. She means so much to so many people. My thoughts and prayers are with you all through this difficult time. I wish so badly that you will find some comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven with Mr. Ervin and both of them are smiling down, wrapping their loving arms around you all.
