Jaunita L. Baker Norris, 90, of Batesville passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024.
She was born April 14, 1934 in Guion, Arkansas to Oscar W. Lynch, Sr. and Jessie Blanche Jeffery Lynch Hopkins.
Jaunita was a member of Central Avenue Methodist Church as well as a member of United Methodist Women. She loved reading, especially her bible and daily devotionals. She was very loving and a true lady. She loved working in her flower garden, watching TV and loved to travel.
Survivors include her son, Philip Baker (Allison Gage) of Batesville; daughter, Missy Carlile (Buddy) of Batesville; three grandchildren, Will Carlile (Crystal), Adley Gage and Isley Gage; five great-grandchildren, Mariah Manning, Jessica Manning, Anthony Manning, Sawyer Carlile and Fletcher Carlile; niece, Laura Fulbright; great-niece Elizabeth Peer; great-nephew, Chris Peer and several friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Howard V. Baker; her second husband, Billy R. Norris and brother, O.W. (Oscar) Lynch, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Carlile, Will Carlile, Don Hubbell, Anthony Manning, Don ''Tink'' Smith and Keith Harmon.
All services will be private.

Juanita was one of my favorite residents while working at Woodcrest, i loved just sitting and talking to her! We got really close! She was loved by so many going to miss this woman! Fly high my friend spread those wings let that star shine bright as your looking down on us!

Missy and Philip, Ms. Juanita’s obituary described her well. She was certainly a loving person. She was always so nice to me and made me happy just to be around her. She was a special lady for sure. Praying for God’s comfort and peace for all of you.

Missy, I am so sorry to see that you have lost your mom. I see where she was born in Guion about the same time my older sisters were born. She wasn't quite as old as they were. I bet Mother and Dad knew them. I remember the Lynches being mentioned , but that was before my time . Again I am so sorry.
