He had two brothers and two sisters and is the last of five children. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and son. He passed from this life on November 2, 2024, at home after a brief illness.

Joe Dale is survived by his wife of 73 years , Hellen Treece Bloodworth; his daughter Billie Joe and Buddy Duncan, (Charles (Woody) Duncan); and sons Joe Dale Jr. and Vickie Bloodworth, Jim and Carol Bloodworth and Richard and Daureen Bloodworth; his grandchildren Max and Amber Bloodworth, Jennifer and Drew Latham, Joe Dale Bloodworth III, Brittany and Jeff Parcel; step grandchildren Rachel and Mark Harrison, Ryan and Samantha Kellum, Rebekah Kellum; Great-grandchildren Myracle Bloodworth, Joey Bloodworth, Genna Bloodworth, Gavin Latham, Chole and Garrett Parcel; Hadilynn, Emmitt, Josselyn, and Dominic Kellum, Remington and Rosie Mann, and Jasmine Shaw, and William, Ben, and Josie Harrison.

Joe Dale was a beloved father and farmer. He enjoyed being outside and tending the garden with his wife Hellen. From an early age, Joe Dale got his love for farming by chopping weeds and cotton out of the fields. He started farming with a mule and a 1-row plow. When he was graduated high school in 1947, he started farming beans, cotton, and rice with his father. He was a spiritual man and was involved in many church activities including a mission trip to Brazil, and he was a deacon and member of Marion Baptist Church. He always looked at the positive and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Thursday November 7, from 1-2 with service following at 2pm at Roller Citizens Funeral home with graveside to follow at Crittenden Memorial Park.

I didn't know Joe personally but many Crittenden County residents did. To have lived such a long life, God surely used him to touch countless others.
My prayers and sympathies to all his family.
