Wanda Fay Rainey (Parker) of Clinton Arkansas, 77, went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of November 4, 2024. She faced a sudden illness with courage and faith. Wanda was born in Ozark, Arkansas to John and Eutichia Parker, the 6th of 8 children.
She met the love of her life, Robert Rainey, while she was a carhop and he was stationed at Fort Chaffee. She married Robert in 1966 and the two lived in Muncie, Indiana before permanently relocating to Arkansas. Wanda had various talents and jobs over the years. She most recently worked as a USDA inspector and retired in 2018.Wanda was passionate in her love for the Lord. She spent a great deal of time in her life praying for others and reading scriptures. Wanda was a member of Clinton Assembly of God for 15 years prior to relocating for work. She also loved gardening and serving her family and friends.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, John Parker and Eutichia (Gregory) Parker; sisters, Pauline King, Loche Bea Kirkendall, Alice Fancher; brothers, John Parker, Gordon Dean Parker and son, Stephen Allen Rainey.
Left to love and cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Robert Rainey; daughter, Tiffanie Rainey Bufford (Dillen); sisters, Alfreda Covert of Altus, Arkansas, Geneva Scott of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and her grandchildren, Brenda Kammerer (Kaleb), Bristol Price, Clarence ''William'' Fuzzy Rainey, Rylee Bufford, Aubrey Bufford and Madelyn Bufford.
Visitation will be Friday, November 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton with burial at Holly Mountain Cemetery.
