Mary Jane Griffith, aged 76, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the Craighead Nursing Center. She was born February 26, 1948, in Greenville, TN, to Emory and Thelma Cutshall Bullman. Mary worked as a seamstress. She attended Highland Drive Baptist Church and loved reading, gardening, cooking, and most of all taking care of her grandbabies.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Dennis Nelson Griffith; sisters, Rosalea Griffon, Dora McDevitt, and Frances Hickman.

Those left behind to cherish Mary's memory include four daughters, Angela (Larry) Barton, Tamela (Maynard) Hyland, Denise Hight and Stephanie (Deborah) Rogers; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Bullman and a sister, Malinda Jo McDevitt-Foster.

A memorial service will be 1 pm November 7, 2024, at the Highland Drive Baptist Church with burial to follow at a later date at the Veteran's National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS, with Pastor Johnny Hutchison officiating.
