Mary Jane Griffith, aged 76, of Jonesboro, AR passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the Craighead Nursing Center. She was born February 26, 1948 in Greenville, TN to Emory and Thelma Cutshall Bullman. Mary worked as a seamstress. She attended Highland Drive Baptist Church and loved reading, gardening, cooking and most of all, taking care of her grandbabies.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, Dennis Nelson Griffith and sisters, Rosalea Griffon, Dora McDevitt and Frances Hickman.
Those left behind to cherish Mary's memory include four daughters, Angela (Larry) Barton, Tamela (Maynard) Hyland, Denise Hight and Stephanie (Deborah) Rogers; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles Bullman and a sister, Malinda Jo McDevitt-Foster.
A memorial service will be 1 pm on November 7, 2024 at the Highland Drive Baptist Church with burial to follow at a later date at the Veteran's National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS, with Pastor Johnny Hutchison officiating.

We love you guys and we will be praying for you. We will always cherish our memories together, whether it was going to the Chicago zoo or camping at Lake Chevyville. We will miss hearing Aunt Mary's laugh. It will always be precious to me that she got to attend church with us.
