Hazel Fountain, 91, of Proctor died Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Willowbend Healthcare. Mrs. Fountain was a housewife and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Pearlie Meeks; her husband, R.L. Fountain; a granddaughter, Lori Fountain; two great-grandsons, Patrick and Spencer Hobby and two brothers. She is survived by two sons, Robert Fountain (Susie) of Proctor, AR; Buck Meeks (Suni) of Conway, AR and three daughters, Becky Hindman (Charlie, deceased) of Conway, AR; Wanda Hindman (Buddy, deceased) of Fort Smith, AR and Melinda Bettis (Tommy) of Marion, AR; a special grandson that she raised, Cody Meeks (Jessica) of Conway, AR; 9 grandchildren, Stacey Hobby (Larry) of North Little Rock, AR; Jamie Fountain of Marion, AR; John Hindman (Janna) of Fort Smith, AR; Heather Rae (Cory) of Vilonia, AR; Erica Kronberger of Marion, AR, Jacob Music of St. Louis, MO; Kamie Bettis of Conway, AR; MacKenzie Bettis of Marion, AR and Whitney Yount of Vilonia, AR; 4 great grandchildren, Dylan Hobby of North Little Rock, AR; James and Jennifer Hindman of Fort Smith, AR and Haylee Zakrzewski of Vilonia, AR and 1 great-great grandson, Glenn Hobby of North Little Rock, AR; two sisters, Catherine Weston of Harrisburg, AR, Carolyn Crow of Tyronza, AR and three brothers, David Meeks of Cordova, TN; Steve Meeks of Tyronza, AR and Tommy Meeks of Marked Tree, AR.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis with services on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home with Mark Weston officiating. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR.

I took care of ms hazel while she was a patient at willowbend in Marion she was such a sweet lady to me. Whenever I needed to go sit down and watch a game show ms hazel room was the place to be she loved the game shows
