Patty Ruth Rodman, age 79, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 in West Helena, Arkansas. She was born on Wednesday, September 5, 1945 in Dyess, Arkansas to the late Homer and Buelah Lloyd. Patty spent many years caring for her children at daycare along with many other jobs where she worked. She enjoyed decorating and spending time with her grandchildren. She was of Church of Christ faith.
Patty is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Buelah Lloyd; sons, Matt Willis and Kevin Smith; brothers, Homer Lloyd Jr., Johnny Lloyd, Bob Lloyd and Bill Lloyd; sisters, Etta Wade and Betty Jo Webster.
She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Rodman; sons, Trevor Smith (Melisa) of Oxford MS and Wesley Smith (Mallory) of Jonesboro, AR; daughter, Karen Wilson (Tony); grandchildren, Rachel Ogilvie (Court) of Olive Branch, MS, Sydney Carner (Joshua) of Jonesboro, AR, Sarah Buck (Tony) of Jonesboro, AR; special daughters; LaSonya Brown (Tim) and Tamara Wilson (Vince) of West Helena, AR; Trevor Smith, Maygan Jones, Amanda Willis, Brianna Wooten, Peyton Willis, Matt Willis, Tiffany Barnes, Kurt Barnes along with a host of great grandchildren; brother, Walter Lloyd (Peggy) of Little Rock, AR; sister, Sue Bishop of Palestine, AR; special friend, Melanie Leonard and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service for Patty Rodman will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Curtis Pettie will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

I was so sad to hear of Pat's passing. She was a wonderful friend, although I haven't seen her...for too long, I think of her often and will remember her forever. Sending love and prayers to you all.
