Robert Lee Kent, Sr., aged 81, of Paragould, AR passed from this life on Monday, October 28, 2024 at AMMC in Paragould, AR. He was born July 13, 1943 in Clinton, MS to James and Elzoria Williams Kent. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 21 years and then as the Postmaster for Bono until retiring. Robert loved softball, bowling and playing chess.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Vickie Jean Kent and a sister, Clara Kelly.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Robert include his wife of 40 years, Regenia Moore Kent; six sons, Robert Kent, Jr., Daryl (Sonya) Kent, Stephen Kent, Patrick (Zandra) Kent, Joshua (Brooke) Kent and Nate Kent; two daughters, Angela Kent and Christine (Eathan) Eddinger; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, James, Alonzo, Melvin and Lloyd Kent; two sisters, Nadine and Trina and many friends and family members.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould with full military honors.
No visitation is scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests lasting memorials be made in Robert's honor to the bethebestfoundation.org.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro, AR.
Uncle Robert i will miss our conversation. Always enjoyed talking to you. You always kept up with my Facebook post. My prayers goes out to my family during this difficult time. May God strengthen all of you.

I've always looked up to my big brother,I wanted to be like him,in school he played baseball, i played baseball,he sung in the school and church choir so did I. He played second base i pitched. You see he was my idol ,he was smart not me.........lol not too far behind,but loved him I did and I will miss him dearly....... My Big Brother.
